Life is no longer about fitting in.
It's about being the most yourself you can be.
I'm Amanda.
My journey into photography began in television production.
One day I'd be up at dawn on a police raid, the next I'd be wrangling reality TV contestants around London in a golf buggy. I worked on everything from documentaries to dramas, but no matter what the production, my favourite job was always taking the press photographs.
There was something about telling a story in a single frame that never left me.
Becoming a mother changed the way I looked at the world. It slowed me down. I found myself noticing the small things that children do without thinking, the fleeting moments that pass so quickly, and the beauty in ordinary everyday life.
That shift led me to where I am today—photographing people. Whether it's a family in the woods or someone building a business they love, what fascinates me is exactly the same: the stories, personalities and quiet moments that make each person unlike anyone else.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me wandering through North London's parks and woodlands, always noticing the light and quietly collecting ideas for the next story.
